Most occupational health services are completed in a single visit with immediate documentation. DOT physicals are valid for up to 24 months depending on medical conditions. We coordinate with employers, insurance carriers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and smooth return-to-work transitions. Follow-up appointments are scheduled as needed for injury treatment or medical surveillance programs. Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment for a DOT physical?

While appointments are recommended for DOT physicals to minimize wait time, we also accept walk-ins. DOT physicals typically take 30-45 minutes to complete. Bring your current medical history, list of medications, and any required employer forms. Our certified medical examiners are registered with the FMCSA National Registry.

How long does drug testing take?

Most urine drug screens provide preliminary results within 5-10 minutes. We offer both instant screening and laboratory confirmation testing. Breath alcohol testing provides immediate results. We can electronically report results to employers the same day in most cases.

Do you accept workers' compensation insurance?

Yes, we accept workers' compensation cases and work directly with employers and insurance carriers. We provide immediate treatment for work-related injuries and complete all required documentation. No out-of-pocket cost to employees for approved workers' compensation care.

What should I bring for a pre-employment physical?

Bring your photo ID, any forms provided by your employer, a list of current medications, and information about any medical conditions. If you wear glasses or contacts, bring them for vision testing. Fasting is typically not required unless specifically requested by your employer.

Can you provide same-day clearance for return to work?

Yes, in most cases we can provide same-day return-to-work clearance after evaluation. We complete the necessary examination, review medical records, and provide documentation to your employer before you leave. Complex cases may require follow-up evaluation.

Do you offer on-site occupational health services for employers?

We can discuss customized occupational health programs for local employers including on-site services, group screenings, and medical surveillance programs. Contact our clinic directly to speak with our occupational health coordinator about your company's specific needs.

Are your DOT medical examiners certified?

Yes, our DOT medical examiners are certified by the FMCSA and listed on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. We stay current with all DOT regulations and provide compliant examinations that meet federal requirements for commercial drivers.

What types of drug tests do you offer?

We offer 5-panel, 10-panel, and DOT-compliant drug screening. We can perform pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and return-to-duty testing. Both urine and breath alcohol testing are available with rapid results and proper chain-of-custody documentation.
